\nUn \u00edndice trimestral de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Comercio (OMC) mostr\u00f3 ayer que el intercambio global de bienes sigue d\u00e9bil, con una lectura de 96.3 unidades, sin cambios frente a febrero y a\u00fan en su menor nivel desde 2010.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEl panorama para el comercio podr\u00eda empeorar m\u00e1s si las crecientes tensiones comerciales no se resuelven o si las pol\u00edticas macroecon\u00f3micas no logran ajustarse a las circunstancias cambiantes\u201d, expuso la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
\nA\u00f1adi\u00f3 que en sus m\u00e1s recientes indicadores no reflejan la situaci\u00f3n de los \u00faltimos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n
\nUna cifra inferior a 100 del \u00edndice, una medici\u00f3n compuesta por siete referentes de comercio, apunta a un crecimiento por debajo de la tendencia del comercio global de bienes que la OMC estim\u00f3 en 2.6% este a\u00f1o, en el punto medio del rango de una estimaci\u00f3n de 1.3% a 4%.<\/p>\n
\nSin embargo, economistas de la organizaci\u00f3n advirtieron que existen varios escenarios que podr\u00edan presionar al crecimiento del comercio hacia la parte baja de la horquilla, incluyendo un empeoramiento de las fricciones entre Estados Unidos y China o la salida de Reino Unido de la Uni\u00f3n Europea sin un acuerdo.<\/p>\n
\nDesde abril, no ha habido una soluci\u00f3n al conflicto del Brexit y el presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, orden\u00f3 un alza de los aranceles sobre bienes chinos.<\/p>\n
\nEl indicador trimestral de la OMC est\u00e1 basado en el volumen de intercambio de mercanc\u00edas en el trimestre previo, \u00f3rdenes de exportaci\u00f3n, tarifas de carga a\u00e9rea internacional, rendimiento de contenedores en puertos, producci\u00f3n y ventas de autos, componentes electr\u00f3nicos e insumos agr\u00edcolas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
