5G-Enabled Shipping Container Hotels : Oppo 5G Hotel

The luxury hotel suite is enclosed within a 40 foot shipping container and is powered by the OPPO Reno smartphone that’s running on a 5G network. This enables guests to enjoy cloud gaming, immersive augmented reality (AR) apps and buffer-free streaming that will soon be a reality once the 5G network starts to roll out in Australia where the hotel is located. Guests can book up to two nights at the hotel at a cost of $150 per night.

OPPO Australia Managing Director Michael Tran spoke on the OPPO 5G Hotel saying, “Aussies are excited for the arrival of 5G, so we’ve built the ultimate live-in experience for consumers to be able to fully immerse themselves in the advancements and innovations that come with the network.”
