Strongbow Cider Has a New Free-From Profile

The Strongbow cider lineup of products have been relaunched by the Heineken-owned brand with a new free-from profile that addresses the increasing demand from consumers for more natural products.

The relaunch includes the Strongbow Original, Strongbow Dark Fruit and Strongbow Cloudy Apple, which are now all free from artificial colors, sweeteners and flavors. The label on the packaging will now also provide more information for curious shoppers to help them stay more informed of what’s in the product.

UK Marketing Director at Heineken Cindy Tervoort spoke about the new Strongbow cider relaunch saying, “Research tells us that consumer attitudes are changing; they are thinking more about what they consume and where it is from – which includes being more mindful about ingredients too – so with this change we are leading the way with Strongbow as you would expect from the number one cider brand in the category.”
