Sound Mind, Sound Body is a new research-driven campaign from ASICS that’s encouraging consumers to reconnect with themselves through fitness. The implications of a global pandemic extend further than one’s physical health. Between lockdowns, job insecurity, lack of contact and an influx of negative news, individuals are living through a collective mental health crisis. At its core, ASICS is a brand committed to moving the mind through sport, and in 2021, that commitment is being renewed through a research project that will capture the true effects of movement on the mind unlike ever before. To kickoff this exciting endeavour, ASICS is hosting a global fitness challenge, which is encouraging people to get up at sunrise and move. Whether its a morning walk, a run, or a bike ride, ASICS hopes to move minds, and to spread positivity.
