Llama Edition Smarties are Launching in Convenience Stores Only

The Llama Edition Smarties have been launched by Nestlé Confectionery as a new product for consumers that plays on the recent popularity of llamas by placing a carton version of the animal front and center on the packaging.

The chocolate candy will come in limited-edition 38 gram tubes that are being launched exclusively in the convenience store and wholesale sectors. The product contains traditional Smarties chocolate candies in red, pink, yellow and purple color options to entice younger consumers who are looking for a fun candy option to try out.

The Llama Edition Smarties follow on the popularity of last year’s Unicorn Edition Smarties that were a hit with consumers that became interested in multi-color food products and recipes.
