Lunar New Year-Themed Spirits

In celebration of the Year of the Ox, a pair of Hennessy Lunar New Year limited edition bottles were launched, which boast opulent designs by Beijing-based artist Liu Wei. Two variations of the spirit can be purchased nationwide while supplies last: a $60 Hennessy V.S.O.P Lunar New Year Limited Edition by Liu Wei, and a $200 Hennessy X.O Lunar New Year Limited Edition by Liu Wei. When designing the bottles, Wei sought to include a colorful palette inspired by the growth and transformation that the spring season brings. Wei further spoke to the inspiration behind the design, stating “In a world where so many people work like machines, Maison Hennessy focuses on the excellence of gesture.
