To prove that everyone has the potential to become a fan of the new plant-based Beyond Meat Nuggets on its menu, A&W Canada tested out this new product on a carnivorous plant. The meatless nuggets were tested on a meat-hungry plant with the Beyond Bait Experiment, which aims to get meat lovers thinking differently about trying a totally meatless option. Previously, the fast food chain set itself apart in Canada as the first quick service restaurant to launch the Beyond Meat Burger. With many fast food brands now launching more menu items to serve vegetarian and vegan consumers, the brand is emphasizing that flexitarians don’t have to be left out, since the meatless options actually cater to all.
