Steamed Egg Snacks

St. John Family Farms is expanding its brand with a new line of steamed-cooked eggs called Steamies. The protein-packed, portable snacks are available in a wide range of flavors that are emphasized with colorful boxes and whimiscial names like Scootin’ with Salt & Pepper or Ramblin’ with Ranch finishing salt. There’s something for everyone, as there are flavors that are cheesy, spicy or reminiscent of the flavors of egg salad. To express the on-the-go nature of the snacks, each playful soft-cooked egg box depicts an image of a chicken in some sort of vehicle, be it a scooter, a boat, a bike or a rocket ship. The eggs are touted as “better than boiled” and highlight the fact that there’s 18 grams of protein per container.
