US Justice Department sues Google over ad dominance
The US Justice Department is suing Google over the search giant’s dominance of the digital advertising market.
Bloomberg writes about this, citing familiar sources.
The lawsuit is expected to be filed in federal court by the end of the week, the agency’s sources said on condition of anonymity.
The US Justice Department did not immediately respond to Bloomberg’s request for comment. Google declined to comment.
“This lawsuit marks the second DOJ ‘monopoly’ case against a company that is the #1 player in the US $278.6 billion digital advertising market, controlling much of the technology used to buy, sell and serve online advertising.
