Virtual Pain Museums

Bodyform’s Pain Museum is a virtual experience that spotlights real-life experiences of a painful disorder for Endometriosis Awareness Month. The virtual museum is on a mission to bring awareness to the “gender pain gap” with an interactive journey that looks at real descriptions of pain in a Pain Dictionary. Hard copies of the dictionary will be sent to influencers who are impacted by the disorder, along with doctors, in the hopes that people suffering from the condition will get the help they need faster. While endometriosis is something that one in 10 women experiences, it takes an average of seven and a half years to be diagnosed since period pain is so widely regarded as “normal.”
