The Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey Release 17 is Complex
The Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey Release 17 is the latest creation from the Seattle-based distillery that has been crafted with “collaboration casks” to help impart a complex flavor to the spirit.
The whiskey was made by aging it in barrels that were then sent to Letterpress Distilling to age its Amaro Amarino before being sent back to Copperworks for the final aging process. This helps to create a product that has notes of orange, peppermint and menthol along with flavors of cedar and sarsaparilla, and a finish of bitter orange and mint.
The Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey Release 17 is a limited-edition release and is only available from the distillery itself or via its online shop. The distillery has also crafted a gin using the same technique.
