BC SPCA Launches ‘Catio Tours’ That are Perfect for Cat Lovers
The BC SPCA has recently announced the launch of a ‘Catio Tour’ to encourage local cat owners to purchase play structures for their feline friends. These outdoor enclosures have become popular in other regions in North America including Portland and Seattle.
The structures include ramps, perches, and toys for cats of all ages to enjoy. This incentive allows cats to enjoy the outdoors safely by preventing them from potential outdoor hazards like animal attacks or vehicles. Those who register are given guidebooks to educate visitors about the products and route. The self-guided tours also include raffled prizes from Catfe, Meowbox and more.
With over seven locations, these ‘Catio Tours’ will officially begin Sunday, June 9th.
