Exclusive Food Content
Vice positioned itself to launch exclusive food content from its food vertical Munchies on OnlyFans—”a subscription site in which fans can pay creators directly for exclusive content.” The brand did not only become the first media publisher to make an account on the platform, but this is also its second foray into a direct-to-consumer subscription service. In late 2020, users gained access to exclusive food content from Munchies through OnlyFans for only $4.99 USD per month. Currently, the offering consists of up-close shots of food being made. This makes for a certain type of ASMR experience as audiences enjoy a more intimate look into preparation, while also witnessing the transformation and interaction of different foods. For the future, Vice plans to include other types of exclusive food content such as videos with chefs, and more.Image Credit: Vice
