NexTech’s ARitize App Connects Brands with Their Target Demographic

NextTech releases an AR application that will “provide new channels to tell [a] brand story.” The app promises to allow companies to engage with their target consumer demographics on deeper levels by offering interactive and useful content that relates to learning, communicating, and selling.

The most recent use of this AR application — which is playfully named ‘ARitize,’ is in a collaboration between NextTech and CFN Media Group. The augmented reality feature is geared toward educating consumers on the use of cannabis and how to differentiate or choose between strains through “self-serve explanations and demonstrations.” The way it works is simple. Individuals can scan a certain brand’s label and in turn, receive a 3D visualization of a brand ambassador who goes over the benefits and such with visual aids. This adds timeliness to the equation as well which is desirable for when one needs a quick answer on-the-go.
