Exportable Social Media Posts

Social media giant, Facebook, recently announced that users can now export both posts and notes to Google Docs, Blogger, and WordPress.com. The brand commented on the privacy and security of the feature, stating “to give people more control and choice over their data, today we’re introducing two new data portability types, Facebook posts and notes.” The new tool offers a practical way to save data. To use the feature, Facebook users can look for the tool under the ‘Your Facebook Information” menu in ‘Settings.’ To transfer your data, users will then click “Transfer Your Information” and follow a series of prompts. Some industry professionals speculated the new tool release is in anticipation of the launch of a newsletter platform similar to ‘Substack.’Image Credit: Facebook
