Feng Sushi’s ‘Hands Off!’ Pop-Up Offers Kitchen-to-Mouth Service

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have someone do all the boring bits of eating for you, you can experience it at Feng Sushi’s ‘Hands Off!’ pop-up this June. While it may sound like an unusual concept, all of the proceeds will go to a good cause.

The Hands Off! pop-up is a four-day event that is being held by London’s Feng Sushi restaurant. For about $25, diners can enjoy a “set tasting menu featuring Nippon ‘mock’ duck (a Chinese pancake filled with cucumber, spring onion, caramelized tofu, and hoisin sauce; salmon, tuna and Japanese omelet nigiri; and vegetarian rolls.” The catch is that diners won’t have to lift a finger because everything will be fed directly to them by the wait staff. While this is a dream come true for tired diners, the pop-up is really a charitable effort with 100 percent of the proceeds going to an organization called Mary’s Meal that donates school meals to children living in poverty.
