ABV Cannabis Co.’s Pre-Roll Container Creates a Micro-Climate

Hippo Premium Packaging created a unique and protective pre-roll package system for ABV Cannabis Co. that offers built-in humidity control features. On the project, Hippo Premium Packaging worked with Boveda to create the perfect environment for cannabis to be contained within. According to Lance Lambert, Strategic Business Unit Manager at Boveda, “Dry cannabis is an epidemic” and its solution involved creating a micro-climate within the packaging design.

The packaging for a fresh, full-flavor and high-quality cannabis was developed to help create a consistent experience for adults, no matter if the product is sitting on a shelf for a day, a week or a month.

In accordance with regulations, the pre-roll package system also integrates child-resistant features, proving that packaging designs can be compliant, aesthetically pleasing and supportive of the end user’s experience.
