Yinka Ilori’s Design is Incredibly Vibrant and Engaging

Yinka Ilori collaborates with Pinterest on a unique and colorful playground design which was spotlighted as an installation during the 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The design is abundant in vibrant colors and geometrical patterns that produce a strong visual impression in those experiencing it.

The aesthetic of the colorful playground is very indicative of designer Yinka Ilori’s original style. Given the collaborative nature of the piece, the palette that the creative embraces for the installation is derived from the “range of colors that are being used most often on Pinterest’s website,” which effortlessly ties the structure and its connotation. The intent behind the colorful playground is not only to draw eyes to Pinterest’s booth at the festival but to also encourage grown-ups to embrace their inner child and play.
