Plastic-Free Beer Packaging : plastic-free beer packaging

Molson Coors has announced that it will be introducing plastic-free beer packaging as part of its global packaging goals that will see a major shift taking place by 2025.

The company will be removing plastic film wrap from large packages of beer by the end of March 2020, which will be replaced with an enclosed carton board box that’s fully recyclable. Additionally, cardboard sleeves will be used in place of plastic rings on the brands Coors Light and Carling cans by the end of March 2021.

The plastic-free beer packaging announcement from Molson Coors will see it shift the brands packaging on a global scale to ensure that all of it is 100% recyclable, reusable, biodegradable or compostable by the above-mentioned target of 2025.
