Social Media Resume Tools

In an effort to help content creators find job opportunities, TikTok recently debuted a new tool dubbed ‘Resumes.’ The feature allows people to post personal job pitches through TikTok videos. The move is not surprising as rumors buzzed last month that the social media brand was looking to enter the job requirement space. As explained by TikTok: “TikTok Resumes is a pilot program designed to continue expanding and enhancing TikTok as a new channel for recruitment and job discovery. We’re teaming up with select companies and inviting job seekers to apply for entry-level to experienced positions with some of the world’s most sought-after employers, including Chipotle, Target, WWE, Alo Yoga, Shopify, Contra, Movers+Shakers, and many more, with a TikTok video resume.”TikTok also debuted a TikTok Resume website to help candidates find inspirations and tips for creating their personal video pitches.Image Credit: TikTok
