Televised Music Festivals

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) announced that it will air The Glastonbury Experience 2021 to replace the famous Glastonbury Festival which was cancelled due to pandemic restrictions. During the virtual experience which will take place from June 25th to 27th, the BBC will air films of past performances at the festival, including exclusive never-before-seen footage. The Glastonbury Experience 2021 will air shows from iconic artists like Radiohead and Kylie.The Glastonbury Experience 2021 will utilize multiple BBC networks such as BBC iPLayer, BBC Radio, and BBC Sounds. Alongside past performances, the virtual festival experience will present performances from Live at Worthy Farms and its accompanying documentary Live At Worthy Farms: Backstage.
