Nissan and Mackie’s of Scotland Teamed Up to Launch ‘Sky to Scoop’

For Clean Air Day in the UK, Nissan created a zero-emission concept ice cream truck to spotlight clean electric vehicle technology with its Sky to Scoop approach. The prototype ice cream truck not only showcases a more eco-friendly way to get around but also treats that are free from toxic fumes from a vehicle with an engine that’s always running.

The treats that were shared on the ice cream truck were sourced from Mackie’s of Scotland, an ice cream producer that relies on the use of renewable and solar energy. As such, the Sky to Scoop project demonstrates how all stages of ice cream production and distribution can be cleaner in the summer months of the year.
