Immigration advocacy is important as many of those who move countries are doing so “out of desperation and the necessity for health and refuge.” The United States has been a key example that highlights the need for immigration advocacy, as a number of controversial political decisions have been made with regard to it.

As a result, organizations like The Americal Civil Liberties Union arise who seek to “defend the rights of immigrant families.” Many activist and environmentalist groups have been looking to design-forward solutions to capture the attention of the public and propel the message forward.
