Juxtaposing physical activities like running through a forest and boxing with candid footage of the subjects excelling at work, this Ballantine’s ad aims to spotlight those that are described as “uncommon, unflinching, undaunted, unstoppable, undistracted and untypical. As the commercial comes to an end, other words describing the cast include “unchallenged, unswayed, unorthodox, undying and undisputed” — staying true to the Ballentine’s brand ethos.

Using bold visual language to engage a Gen-X audience, the premium scotch brand showcases different corporate success stories while spotlighting subjects from all walks of life. Though they are all different, the subjects’ commonalities include their fearlessness, authenticity and determination.
