McDonald’s Japan has updated its Happy Meal menu items to include some healthier options. The movement toward more conscious consumption has impacted the fast food industry in numerous ways. From offering fully recyclable takeaway containers, to including more vegetarian substitutes, fast food brands are quickly pivoting in an attempt to cater to changing consumer desires. McDonald’s Japan is taking this one step further, by altering its iconic Happy Meal menu to include some healthier choices.
