With this packaging innovation, Böen is setting itself apart as the first United States wine brand to use NFC technology in this way.

The next-gen wine bottles from Böen will be introduced across the United States, capped with e-WAK, Guala Closures’ award-winning, NFC-integrated aluminium closure. Böen invites consumers to “tap our cap” to instantly discover more about the product, including its origins in the vineyard. The app-free experience also equips consumers with ideas on food pairings and a place to share their own unique experiences.
