Corona Gave Consumers the Chance to Pay for Beer with Plastic

Money is most often used for beer payment but this summer, Corona and Parley for the Oceans gave consumers an alternative way to pay for their beer during the week of World Oceans Day. With recycling machines stationed in retail shops and bars, Corona accepted plastic as a form of payment for its products in destinations like Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Colombia.

The Pay with Plastic program marks the start of an entire campaign from Corona and Parley, which have been working together for years. Each limited-edition pack of Corona that’s purchased also helps to support the cleaning of one square meter of a local beach and consumers will have the chance to participate in these clean-ups this summer too.
