Pop-Up Privacy Cafes : facebook cafe

Over the past few months, privacy on Facebook has become a topic of interest for many, especially as the social media company has been scrutinized for allegedly mishandling sensitive user data—and now, a series of pop-up Facebook Cafes are being launched in the UK to help visitors with privacy check-ups. In all, five Facebook Cafes will be set up with the aim of showing users the best way to customize their Facebook privacy settings.

The first Facebook Cafe of its kind is set to be introduced to The Attendant on Great Eastern Street for just a few days at the end of August. This initiative is being launched due to the fact that Facebook discovered that more than a quarter of its UK users do not know how to adjust their privacy setting on the platform.
