Cristal Created ‘CRISTALGRAM’ with an Instagram-Friendly Label

Just as people are passionate about sharing the experiences they are having on social media, they also love to show their friends and followers the products they are enjoying—and Cristal’s CRISTALGRAM helps to do this in a way that makes sense.

When sharing to Instagram Stories with selfie mode, the captured content is flipped and writing that appears on-screen appears backwards. To remedy this, Cristal created a special edition beer with a reversed label that can easily be read when it appears on Instagram Stories. The CRISTALGRAM campaign was launched in Peru and gave the brand’s young adult target audience the chance to share the unique beer packaging in a more effective way.

Specifically for social media and selfie-taking consumers, many brands are creating labels that are mirrored.
